February Wedding; Frosty & Gothy

I can’t wait for the professional photos to come back, so you’re just going to see the BTS ones.

Creating such a wonderful, truly seasonal wedding in just whites was a bit of a feat in early Feb. Yes, this wedding was created for 10th Feb so really early into the growing year.

The lovely wedding planner was amazing and agreed that seasonal is best, and would be thrilled to incorporate greens and foliages, and we could get bursts of white from candles and bows. Yes, bows are still very trendy.

We created urns with seasonal Camellia and magnolia, stretching tulips, unreal alstroemeria (who would have thought) and truly magnificent hellebores.

Table centres were made with a mass of bud vases filled with scented paperwhites, hyacinths, narcissus, snowdrops and ranunculus all interspersed around gorgeous candelabra adorned with trailing ivy. The twinkly tealights and mixed height tapered candle really brought the romance to The Ned wedding.

All five mantlepieces were created without floral foam, using incredible seasonal foliages in waxy greens and gestural form. Considered placement of bows and candles allowed each mantlepiece to be an installation of it’s own and really working with the ornate and deep wood work of the venue.

Mixing modern whites with gothic dark nods to the surroundings of old England, we created a truly sumptuous and stunning seasonal wedding for our modern and chic couple.
